PLC glossary
Speed reference
The speed the PLC asks a drive to run at. The drive ramps towards it and reports when it gets there.

- A pump controller sends its drive 60 percent to slow the flow.

- On a SINAMICS drive, 16384 means 100 percent of the reference speed.
