Down, grip, up, across
Step a pick and place through its sequence, every move confirmed.
Move each part from the pick nest to the place nest, waiting for a after every move, and stop with a fault if the part is lost on the way.

What the tests check
- Waits for Auto, a part and a clear place nest.
- Each move waits for its sensor.
- Never moves sideways unless Up.
- Losing the part on the way stops the cell with Fault ON.
- Reset sends the gripper home, up first.
- Try it Use the buttons below the model and watch the rig respond.
- Test solution Every check runs on your code in one press.
- Replay If one fails, step through it one scan at a time to see why.
Where you’d see this on site
Assembly and packing lines are full of cells like this, each one a few cylinders stepping through a fixed order.
A cell that moves on a timer instead of a sensor eventually crashes the cup through a part. One that ignores a lost grip throws parts across the guarding.
Pick and place units feed presses, assembly stations and test rigs. Each move is a pneumatic cylinder with a reed switch at each end, so the controller always knows where the gripper is before it moves again.

On a real site: places, parts and safety
- Assembly lines loading parts into fixtures
- Packing machines placing products into trays
- Test rigs moving parts between stations
Moving sideways with the cup down drags it through parts and fixtures: always confirm Up first.
Real cells cut the air and the outputs when the light curtain is broken.
The sizes, timings and cutaways are teaching choices, not a drawing of any one real installation.
